03 Apr 2012 David Watson gsoc

If you have been following our blog you’ll know that the Honeynet Project was very happy to have been accepted as a mentoring organization for [applying to the Honeynet Project](https://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/document/show/gsoc_program/google/gsoc2012/home>Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2012.If you are a student interested in <a href=), the student application deadline is 19:00 UTC on Friday April 6th. So with 3 days to go, you need to be planning on submitting your project application vi the Melange system soon. To avoid disappointment, please don’t leave your application until the last minute - you can edit as often as you want before the deadline.

For anyone still considering applying, to recap, you can find more about Google Summer of Code 2012 here:

Good luck to all the students applying to GSoC this year. You still have 3 days to get in touch and submit a project application, so if you or your friends/colleagues are interested, we look forward to receiving your project ideas and hopefully working with some of you again this summer.
