Each year the Honeynet Project holds its annual workshop, bringing together top information security experts from around the globe to present their latest research efforts as well as discuss insights and strategies to combat new threats.
Organized by The Honeynet Project along with workshop partners United Arab Emirates (UAE) CERT and the Honeynet Pakistan Chapter, we will hold out next annual workshop in Dubai from Feb. 10th to 12th, 2013. The workshop is held over a three-day period and is open to the public.
The workshop will feature an exciting line-up of participants including Raffael Marty, Anton Chuvakin, David Watson, Felix Leder, Mark Schloesser, Matt Bishop, Brian Hay, Christian Seifert, Mahmud Ab Rahman and many other experts in their fields. Hands-on training opportunities will be offered on a number of topics including Malware Reverse Engineering, Android Malware Analysis, Deploying Honeynet Technologies, Information Visualization Tools, Network Analysis and Forensics, Log File Analysis, Setting Up and Using Sandbox Environments and other key technical areas.

The Honeynet Project workshop provides participants and sponsors with exposure to world-class professionals and a diverse range of information security topics. We invite you to be part of our workshop in 2013 through various sponsorship opportunities that are outlined in the attached document. As a non-profit organization, we depend upon external sponsors to help defray costs for the annual workshop. All sponsorship funds are used solely to offset the costs of the workshop.
